Plymouth Community Dental Service provides dentistry for people who cannot receive dental care from a general dental practice, such as those with special needs and patients requiring specialist minor oral surgery as well as routine children up until the age of 16. The service is also part of the urgent care provision for unregistered patients in Plymouth.

Plymouth Community Dental Services Ltd (PCDS) provides specialist led dental treatment for children and adults who, for various reasons cannot access the dental treatment they need in a General Dental Practice.

We have two clinics across Plymouth, with use of a wheelchair tipper and sedation at Plymouth Dental Access Centre. We provide inhalation and intravenous sedation for children and adults. We provide general anaesthetic dental services from University Hospital Plymouth (UHP) for paediatric extractions and children and adults with special needs.
